I have straight, thick yet soft hair I cut every 4 to 5 weeks to maintain a length of 2-3 inches. I've tried a dozen or more products with my former favorite (until now) being the Gibs tea tree matte cream. I've used this newer Ultra Styling Cream for about a month and it surpasses anything else. Lightweight with an adequate hold and a fresh, light, inobtrusive scent. So lightweight that twice now I've gone one week between shampoos with no meaningful excess buildup...I use it on towel dried hair after I shampoo, and then 1, 2 or 3 sparingly small applications on dry hair as needed over the course of the following week. Your mileage may vary, but for me this stuff has made my hair care ridiculously simple and easy with great results. The best by far for me, please keep making it.
I really like this styling cream. It gives my hair a nice lightweight hold without making it feel heavy, greasy, or stiff. One of my favorite things about it is that it doesn’t feel sticky like a traditional forming cream or pomade. To me, it feels like a hybrid between a leave-in conditioner and a typical pomade — it gives control and shape, but still leaves the hair soft, touchable, and natural-looking. I also love that it gives my hair texture without making it crunchy or overly product-heavy. Great for everyday styling.
So I don’t use product in my hair as much as I don’t like the way it makes a sticky mess with your hands. This product not only makes it so I can apply some in my hair with my pinky and not have to run to a bathroom to wash my hands. Not only does it keep my hair as perfect as I need for short hair it is perfect as I don’t feel like I’m using a lot of product but am still getting great results.
The new Gibs Ultra Styling Cream is perfect for a quick style that doesn't add weight or feel over done. I highly recommend it!
