As an avid bead oil user with a much larger than average beard I have used many different products. I was first introduced several years ago to the Alpha Male beard oil when I was gifted a sample by a hairstylist friend. I absolutely loved the oil itself but the fragrance was way to feminine and perfume like. I still have the same bottle and have not forgotten how incredibly different the oil felt. The oil is by far the softest and smoothest oil I have used. I realize we are talking about oil and who would have though there could be a difference but the difference is drastically noticeable. I recently decided to research the product and saw that there were different fragrances. I ordered one of each of the beard oil products (red, blue and yellow ones). The yellow one comes the closest to having a male beard fragrance but again the other three (purple, blue, red) are way to feminine and perfume like for my liking. Still by far the best oil (which again is hard to put into words) but I just can do the perfume like smells. Give me cedar, cigar, leather, redwood, or something more cologne like rather than the perfume. The little round disk of soap that I received was on point. It had a great man beard smell so maybe they are on the right track.
